Bombay Sapphire stands out in the gin world not only for its iconic blue bottle but also for its unique production process. Unlike most gins that boil botanicals directly in the spirit, Bombay Sapphire uses a vapor infusion process where the botanicals are suspended in perforated copper baskets above the spirit.

As the hot alcoholic vapors rise, they extract the aromatic compounds from the botanicals, resulting in a more delicate, balanced flavor profile. The 10 botanicals used include juniper berries from Tuscany, coriander seeds from Morocco, angelica root from Saxony, and cubeb berries from Java, among others.
